Plumb Bob Style Level Sensor SMU
The Silo Patrol® SE Inventory Management System is an industry-leading cable-based smart level sensor system. Most noteworthy, it handles some of the harshest and most dynamic conditions. Also, this system incorporates state-of-the-art sensors, a wide choice of operator interfaces, auxiliary outputs and displays. Furthermore, it includes unique remote/vendor managed inventory solutions.
The Silo Patrol SE delivers a truly robust level sensor design. Hence, it provides reliable and high-value solutions for a wide variety of applications and industries worldwide. Also, it incorporates significant advances in this field-proven approach to reliably monitoring the level of material in bins, silos and tanks up to 150ft (45.7m) in height. Furthermore, the Silo Patrol SE level sensor technology is used with multiple powders, granules, slurries and liquids. Also, it is effective even in the most harsh and dynamic conditions. Finally, the heart of the Silo Patrol SE level measurement system is the sensor itself.
The Model SMU (Silo Monitoring Unit), incorporates technological advancements. They require no field adjustments. Also, its robust design provides virtually maintenance-free operation. Guided Wave Radar
The Flexar® continuous level measurement system is a smart guided wave radar device. It monitors the level of powders, granules and other bulk solids as well as many liquids and slurries. Also, it is suitable for a variety of liquids and some slurries. Furthermore, it is in a wide assortment of vessels and industries and measures levels up to 200ft (60m) in height.
They combine this proven and strategically acquired technology with almost five decades of expertise. Also, they focus in powder and bulk solids applications, and with the SiloTrack™ inventory management software interface. Monitor Technologies uniquely provides the best solutions in level measurement and inventory management of powders and bulk solids.
The Flexar guided wave radar level sensor and/or transmitter doesn’t require field calibration or re-calibration. Also, it sets up easily by customer personnel without using of any special tools or training. Finally, Flexar units are for almost any application. They operate with process temperatures up to 392° F (200°C), and provide a variety of process connections. Also, they work reliably with materials having a wide range of bulk densities and dielectric constants. Flexar is available with a choice of two outputs.
The standard output is a “smart” interface for use with SiloTrack™ Version 3.5 PC-based inventory management software. This network-ready software provides a flexible graphical interface for up to 128 “smart” output sensors. In lieu of this “smart” output, an optional analog output is also available.
Non-Contact Radar Continuous Level Sensor
The RadarRight™ radar level instrument emits a microwave pulse from its antenna. It travels at the speed of light to the surface of the medium below. The time-of-flight of the pulse and its reflection back to the instrument location directly relates to the empty distance in the vessel and the material level. Furthermore, the output from the electronics continuously updates as the level of the material surface changes. The RadarRight radar level instrument uses the proven 26GHz as the transmitting frequency.
POINT LEVEL INDICATION
KA/KAX Rotary Paddle Level Switches
Monitor’s KA/KAX line of rotary paddle bin level indicators are the most reliable. They are rugged and economical point level control sensors available for detection of dry bulk materials. Also, these easy to install switches are proven performers for a wide variety of bulk materials. They use paddle switches to eliminate bin overflow and maintain a predetermined material level Also, they indicate plugging of conveyors and pneumatic lines, or provide any of a number of level control functions. Unlike many other available paddle units for bins and silos, Monitor’s paddle level indicators (sensores de nivel) incorporate a feature that automatically shuts off the motor of the unit. This occurs when the paddle is in a stalled position. Consequently, this both extends the life of the motor and minimizes maintenance.

Monitor’s complete line, which features models MK-2 and MK-2e, provides you with the most affordable solution for your application. Monitor’s RF capacitance probes provide a high level of sensitivity, stability and durability. They are for powder and bulk solids applications, as well as liquid and slurry applications.
DustAlarmÒ Broken Bag Dust Detectors
The DustAlarm Broken Bag Detector provides reliable and economical detection of leaks and filter failures in many powder and bulk solids industries. Also it successfully utilizes a wide variety of applications where detection of dust levels is critical. Reasons include safety, maintenance, equipment operation, plant efficiency and/or the environment. The DustAlarm measures the triboelectric effect to determine when particle emissions exceed acceptable levels.
Also the Dust Alarm Broken Bag Detector incorporates visual indications and a relay output. This maximizes its user-friendliness and automation capabilities. A reference point sets the sensitivity control adjustment, aided by the tri-color LED. The alarm point is set by an alarm level control adjustment. The relay output activates an alarm device or integrates into a control system. This enhances the overall operation of the dust collector.

Vibratory Level Sensor – DuraVibe PZP
DuraVibe PZP is fail-safe, versatile and easy to use, with the strongest probe in the industry! The self-cleaning diamond shape probe eliminates false signals found with “tuning fork” designs. The fail-safe feature provides an alarm in case of a power failure. It works with varying moisture, temperature, and material composition. Also, it detects very light (1.5 lb/ft3) to heavy, dense materials with proper protective baffling. Pipe extension, cable extension and high-temp units are available.
Vibratory Level Sensor – DuraVibe VibraRod™
DuraVibe VibraRod is fail-safe, versatile and easy to use! The stainless steel probe is durable and maintenance-free. The probe is tip-sensitive and unaffected by material build-up near mounting base. The reduced probe diameter and overall length make it less vulnerable to bending. Also it is less susceptible to material build-up. Furthermore, the self-cleaning probe eliminates false signals found with “tuning fork” designs. SiloTrackÔ Inventory Management Software
SiloTrack Inventory Management Software is PC-based application software that provides users with an unsurpassed, flexible graphical interface. It is featured in their SiloPatrol® SE Model SMU inventory monitoring sensors. Also, it is in their Flexar® guided wave radar continuous level measurement sensors.
SiloTrack Inventory Management Software Version 3.5 is the next evolution of Monitor’s popular PC-based application software. It provides users with an unsurpassed, flexible graphical interface. This is for their industry-standard SiloPatrol SE Model SMU inventory monitoring sensors. It is also in their Flexar® guided wave radar continuous level measurement sensors.
SiloTrack software includes a Server and Client version. Together SiloTrack Server and Client provide inventory monitoring and management capability to a virtually unlimited number of users. Also users can be internal and external to your facility. Furthermore, this allows you to easily implement remote inventory monitoring and vendor managed inventory.
The SiloTrack Server software is the master operator interface for the SiloPatrol SE and Flexar “smart” sensors. Furthermore, this software is installed on the PC in which the RS-485 communication sensor network(s) will be connected. Also, all application setup and configuration is done with the Server software.
The SiloTrack Client software provides remote users access to the inventory monitoring system. Also, they are installed on PC’s that interface with the SiloTrack Server PC via LAN, WAN/Internet or Dial-up modem. So security is established in the SiloTrack Server software. The type and method of connection is established in the SiloTrack Client software. Finally, the SiloTrack Server software establishes security for access by any Client user.
Auxiliary Output Enclosures (AOE) and Remote Display Units (RDU) make any SiloTrack system a true management and control system. RDU’s can not be used with Flexar level sensors. Also, relay action and analog outputs easily setup in the SiloTrack Server software.

Bin Aeration – Bin Aeration Air Pads
The Monitor air pad bin aerator is an aeration device that promotes the flow of dry bulk powders from a storage vessel.
The Air Pad continuously introduces air into the body of the dry powder. When a powder is first conveyed into a storage vessel it is actually a highly aerated mixture of air and particulate. So, in this state, the mixture flows quite readily. However, as the powder settles the solid particulate and air separate. As a result this decreases volume and increases bulk density. In this deaerated state, powders behave more like a single large solid structure rather than a fluid-like mixture. It replaces the naturally lost air, so the air to particulate mixture ratio is held. Therefore it maintains the fluid-like characteristic of the aerated powder.
